Car parks operator Indigo has won a contract with Dacorum Borough Council.
Indigo will invest throughout Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted town centre parking areas, continuing its initiatives and installing new technology and equipment.
These will include smart machines that accept card payments, connected in real-time to enforcement and business intelligence systems, two new ANPR spotter vehicles, RingGo cashless parking and software solutions to provide PCN and permit management. The new software solutions will use Permit-Smarti and Citizen-Smarti.
The company has worked with the local authority over the past 14 years.
Phillip Herring, managing director Indigo UK, said: "We look forward to further improving technology, customer experience and continuing to invest in the borough."
