Hazardous waste service provider Tradebe has acquired Avanti Environmental Group from Stericycle Inc.
Tradebe operates internationally, managing waste recycling plants in 85 locations in Europe the USA and Oman.
Avanti operates automative, hazardous, laboratory and other waste processing services at treatment and transfer sites in England and Scotland. It employs more than 140 people, runs a waste transfer station in North West England, provides waste services in the Scottish Central Belt and the Highlands and operates a plastics recycling division.
Tradebe UK's chief executive, Rob Molenaar said: "The combination of Tradebe, Labwaste and Avanti will provide for a strong platform capable of servicing and meeting the changing demands of our customers. The companies are aligned in terms of service operations, capabilities and geographical reach."
Earlier this year, Tradebe acquired UK laboratory waste disposal services business Labwaste.
