Norse Cleaning Division has won a three-year cleaning contract with a Cambridge school worth £500,000.
The agreement covers daily cleaning of the school classrooms, communal areas, staff rooms and toilet facilities, plus periodic deep cleans, at St Mary's School in Cambridge - an independent day and boarding school in central Cambridge educating girls from age four to 18.
The contract also includes the daily cleaning of Mary Ward House, which includes dormitories used as accommodation by overseas students, making the contract a year-round operation for Norse.
Robert Trewick, operations director at Norse said: "This is a very prestigious cleaning contract for Norse, and one which adds to our growing portfolio of educational establishments cleaning in the area. We are looking forward to building a long-term relationship with such a well-respected and established school."
Twelve cleaning staff will TUPE transfer into Norse under the contract and three new roles will be created.
