Global board director at Rider Levett Bucknall, Ann Bentley, is to speak at the BIFM Procurement Conference in September which will look at the essentials of good contract management.
The BIFM Procurement Conference 2018 will take place on 11 September at Etc Venues at Norton Folgate in East London.
Bentley will be talking about procuring for value and performance at the event.
Bentley is a member of the UK Government's Construction Leadership Council, a member of the CBI's Construction Council and an advisor to the Construction Industry Council. She is a Member of the Institution for Civil Engineers (MICE), a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and holds an MBA from Henley Business School.
She is also a visiting professor of business management, project management and quantity surveying at Birmingham City University and a visiting lecturer in the School of Construction Management and Engineering at Reading University.
Working in the property and construction sector for over 35 years, Bentley is experienced in working with commercial, public and third sector clients.She is an advocate of diversity in the construction industry and the career opportunities open to all sectors of society.
The keynote speaker is Diana Spellman, who is managing director of Partners in Purchasing. Other speakers include: Chris Jeffers, partner and consultant at Rider Levett Bucknall & BIFM Procurement SIG chair; Justine Cooper, global head of property information, Rolls Royce; Anne Kinder, senior consultant at Nodus Solutions & BIFM Procurement SIG deputy chair; Anne Lennox-Martin, MD of consultancy FMP360 Ltd; and Chris Reeves, operations director at Vinci Facilities. Alex Gill, managing direct at CBRE UK Services will also be speaking about contract management in FM. Samantha Ulyatt, commercial director of Crown Commercial Services (CCS) will also be speaking.
The programme includes lengthy session with speakers addressing issues such as the future of FM contracting and best practice, as well as workshops in the afternoon and a panel debate.
