Facilities management provider Emcor UK has been awarded an eight-year contract to support its work with BAE Systems Typhoon Total Availability enterprise (Tytan) up to 2026.
Emcor UK will support BAE Systems and the Military of Defence (MoD) with facilities management across Royal Air Force (RAF) Coningsby and RAF Lossiemouth.
The FM provider will be responsible for providing hard and soft facilities management services, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, cleaning, ground works, fabric protection, CAD and project works.
It will also implement service aspects, which will cover the typhoon maintenance facility (TMF), typhoon support centre (TSC), typhoon training facility (TTF) and typhoon management operations centre (TMOC).
The Tytan contract involves BAE Systems, defence equipment and support (DE&S), and the RAF supporting the UK typhoon fleet at RAF Coningsby and RAF Lossiemouth.
