The Institute of Physics (IOP) has announced that Pareto FM has been chosen to provide workplace services at its newly built headquarters in Caledonian Road in North London.
The Royal Charter company, with more than 50,000 members, provides an international centre for physics that showcases the best of modern science and engineering.
The building itself is an exemplar of modern design incorporating borehole-cooling piles, cooled concrete exposed floor slabs, natural ventilation systems, and rainwater harvesting with blue and green roofs.
Kate Meehan, managing director of IOP Enterprises, said the new building showcased "the contributions of physics to include such systems as ground source heat pumps, PV panels, and an enhanced BMS system".
Andrew Hulbert, managing director of Pareto FM, said his company would be "operating in a building with one of the most advanced BMS and sustainability strategies in Europe".
