Churchill Services Group is partnering with Surfers Against Sewage (SAS), a UK-based marine charity established in 1990 to keep oceans, beaches, riverways and coastal shorelines free from sewage and plastic pollution.
Churchill has become a 'SAS 250 club member', which the company says gives it access to "a powerful group of likeminded business leaders looking to drive forward a movement for lasting change across the UK".
The company has already begun working with SAS on the south coast, helping to clear plastic waste from local riverways and beaches.
These efforts are intended to be expanded across the rest of Churchill's regional locations.
Antony Law, managing director of Churchill, said: "Churchill's SAS membership is the first step in many towards eliminating unnecessary debris from our ecosystems and building a better future for our oceans, riverways, and coastlines."
