Interserve has announced the merging of two divisions as one of its managing directors leaves the company.
As part of the changes, the company has merged its Citizen Services division with its Support Services division. Citizens Services, which "embraces justice, Interserve Learning and Employment and Interserve Healthcare", has merged with Support Services with immediate effect.
Support Services is managed directly by Debbie White, chief executive officer. The company said the "structural changes underline the company's commitment to its growth strategy, and the aim is to provide the best possible service to Interserve's customers".
Yvonne Thomas, managing director of Citizen Services, will be leaving the company at the end of December to set up a new venture.
White said: "This important announcement reflects our commitment to creating a more effective and simplified business that is focused on providing the best possible service to our customers.
"With clear goals and our strategic priorities now in place, the time is right for us to move our Citizen Services business into our Support Services division. I'd like to thank Yvonne for her immense contribution to the business and I wish her well in her future endeavours."
