Services company Sodexo has been awarded a four-year soft services contract worth £4 million a year with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS).
Sodexo will deliver catering, cleaning, security and waste services.
The agreement will cover the full SFRS estate across 420 locations including whole-time and retained duty system fire stations, offices and support locations, guaranteeing a consistent level of service across Scotland.
Sodexo will support the service to achieve its transformation strategy by allowing its 8,000-strong service personnel to focus on improving the safety and well-being of the communities they serve.
Sarah O'Donnel, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service's director of financial and contractual services, said: "We are absolutely committed to providing the best value service for the people of Scotland.
"This contract will enable us to do exactly that, ensuring a consistent level of service across all SFRS properties and allowing us to concentrate on our core roles and responsibilities as we work to continue protecting Scotland's communities from harm."
