Facilities management provider Emcor UK has been awarded a total facilities management (TFM) contract with multinational insurance company RSA Insurance Group, following a competitive bid process.
The contract will be implemented at 18 of RSA's buildings across the UK, including RSA Insurance Group's London headquarters at 20 Fenchurch Street. The deal took effect on 1st November and will be delivered over a five-year term.
Emcor UK is providing the 18 contracted RSA facilities with a wide range of services, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, building fabric cleaning and maintenance, cleaning, catering and vending, manned guarding, landscaping services, pest control, gritting services, statutory testing, FM helpdesk, reception services, and space planning and waste management. It will also deliver first line operational staff management, and some additional minor projects.
Keith Chanter, CEO of Emcor UK, said the contract would be "targeting the delivery of optimal environments in support of their business objectives".
