Property and site protection teams join forces as VPS Security Services

Two separate divisions of VPS (UK) Ltd are combining to operate under the new banner of VPS Security Services.

Their property division, which has been running for over 25 years, will merge with its site security unit, a specialist in securing "construction sites, utilities and assets in remote, challenging environments".

Its recent projects include a wide range of security support on offer, from protecting pubs and churches that have closed down, through to devising electronic 'goalposts' to prevent low-bridge strikes during a major highways refurbishment programme.

Phil Bunting, a VPS director, said: "We have the widest range of security options in the business, combining the highest-quality in-house designed products, such as the VPS Security Tower range, the industry-leading Bluetooth-operated Smart Door and our Smart Alarms, with the expertise and experience of our inspectors, engineers and business development managers. Each customer has a unique set of requirements. It makes complete sense for both teams to pool their resources and knowledge."
