Prince William, Duke of Cambridge has reiterated how employers need to put a greater focus on the mental health of their workers.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, this week, he said: "It should be a lot earlier to go to your HR department and talk about issues at work."
The duke told delegates: "From our Heads Together research that we did, only 2 per cent of people felt confident to talk to their HR department.
"Now that is a staggering number if you think about it Bearing in mind we spend so much of our lives at work, it would seem sensible that it would be a good place to start."
In September last year, Heads Together, the campaign set up by the duke to fight the stigma surrounding mental illness, and mental health charity Mind launched ?#MentalHealthAtWork? - a new online gateway to resources and information developed to help workplaces improve staff well-being.
