British caterer and restaurateur Searcys has been awarded a contract to provide catering at a historic venue in the City of London.
The firm has been providing catering for events and meetings at the Honourable Artillery Company's home from the beginning of March.
The venue in Moorgate was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1537, and HAC is the oldest regiment in the British Army.
The Georgian mansion is set within a five-acre hidden garden, just a few minutes from Moorgate Station.
Inside the historic building, Armoury House and the Prince Consort Rooms can accommodate parties of 10 to 700 guests.
Outside, the Artillery Garden offers the perfect setting for weddings, summer parties and sporting events for up to 5,000 guests.
The new hospitality packages tailored for the HAC "will showcase the seasons and focus on home-grown products".
Searcys' conference and events menus will "focus on nutrition and well-being, keeping delegates alert and energised for meetings".
The HAC joins a number of other venues in historical properties nationwide, where Searcys' provides services including St Paul's Cathedral, Vintners Hall, Blenheim Palace and The Roman Baths.
