B&M Waste Services has been awarded a three-year waste and recycling contract by property firm Bruntwood.
The contract begins in May and will see B&M Waste service more than 80 of Bruntwood's properties in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.
Bruntwood expects to see improvements in efficiencies and sustainability, with a focus on customer engagement and waste minimisation.
Simon Durbin, head of property management at Bruntwood, said: "Last year we became the first UK commercial property company to sign the World Green Building Council advancing net zero initiative, committing to operate at net zero carbon by 2030.
"Reducing the emissions we produce, and improving the energy efficiency of our buildings and the activities inside them is a key priority for us. By working together with B&M Waste, we and our customers will be supported to benefit from an effective waste management system, with 100 per cent of waste being diverted from landfill. We look forward to working with the B&M Waste team to see how we can improve even further in the future."
