Amadeus has secured a £12 million catering deal with Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Under the seven-year contract Amadeus will provide exclusive catering services at the venue, including running all retail catering at exhibitions, conferences and banqueting catering, as well as hospitality at live events.
Farnborough International operates the 20,000 square metres of exhibition and conference venue space and delivers aerospace events. The contract will see Amadeus deliver catering at the biennial Farnborough International Airshow from 2020.
Amadeus managing director Kevin Watson said: "As a team, we understand the unique challenges catering at an exhibition venue brings, peaks in visitor numbers and ever-changing customer demographics require the business to be agile, constantly reacting to the schedule of events taking place at the venue."
The deal adds to the company's growing interest in the catering sector, which includes catering at the NEC Group venues, and more than 30 venues across the UK including visitor attractions, exhibition venues and conference centres. Amadeus also caters for corporate events including a number of internationally renowned sporting tournaments.
