Sodexo Energy & Resources has been awarded three FM contracts worth a combined £6.5 million a year. The clients are Total E&P UK, Doosan Babcock, and a major player in the energy market.
Total E&P UK has chosen Sodexo to provide a range of FM services for more than 1,200 employees at three sites in Aberdeen and the Shetland Islands as part of a new five-year contract.
Doosan Babcock has also awarded a new three-year contract to Sodexo to provide multiple FM services for at least 1,200 employees at six locations in the UK. Sodexo's will introduce its new Let's Eat food offer, which has been specifically created to provide good affordable food that everyone knows and loves - served up in a modern, relaxing space - to help consumers unwind.
The third deal builds on Sodexo's 18-year relationship with an existing client in the energy sector. A 46-strong Sodexo team will provide offshore hotel services on an accommodation vessel to support the 300 personnel on board.
Susan Elston, senior vice-president for Sodexo's Offshore & Marine business in the UK and Ireland, said: "We believe that in the energy industry, the well-being and safety of our customers is critical. We are looking forward to partnering with all three clients to ensure their employees are given the best quality of life based on three core factors: safety, comfort and social engagement."
Dimitar Vassilev, UK&I marketing director for Sodexo Energy & Resources, said: "Let's Eat offers honest, delicious food with a side of stunning sensory design, served with passion that we want to share with all. So we have carefully crafted our menus to have affordable and accessible choices for every pocket, all in a place that is not only convenient, but also tastefully designed, so that everybody wants to stay with us and nobody ever has to leave their workplace."
