G&H Maintenance has won a three-year contract to manage educational facilities across 11 sites in Leeds.
Leeds City College and Leeds College of Music's buildings will be maintained until 2022.
Planned, reactive and emergency call out maintenance will be delivered along with small works including electrical installation condition reports and ductwork cleaning.
G&H Maintenance will also ensure the site is fully compliant with current regulations and issue certification of services such as natural gas, refrigeration and water hygiene.
David Ridsdale, director at G&H Maintenance, said: "We will continue to focus on delivering a strategic maintenance plan that will save the colleges money and mean their mechanical and electrical services are operating most efficiently.
"At Leeds College of Music, for example, there are studios, performance spaces, Mac labs and a DJ suite - which stay open until 3am during term-time.
"Therefore it is very important lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and all the other mechanical and electrical services are working at their best without disruption in order to create the right environment for students to learn in."
