Norse has been awarded a three-year total facilities management (TFM) contract by Heart Trust - a multi-academy trust in Norfolk consisting of four primary academies.
The contract, worth around £200,000 a year, includes statutory compliance, reactive maintenance, cleaning and adds to the caretaking and existing contracts Norse has with Heart Trust for waste and catering services.
Under the new deal, 10 staff have transferred into Norse under a TUPE agreement, and two new staff have been taken on.
Daniel Vanstone, commercial director at Norse, said: "We are proud to be one of the leading total FM providers to the education and commercial sectors in the region, and this new agreement with Heart is a prestigious addition to our portfolio."
Total facilities management works are worth about £10 million to Norse in Eastern England and provide employment for about 400 staff.
