The Design Museum has appointed Pareto FM to provide hard services at its new venue in Kensington, London.
The Design Museum is the world's leading museum devoted to contemporary architecture and design. Its work encompasses all elements of design, including fashion, product and graphic design.
The Design Museum said its relocation to Kensington was made possible through the generosity of major donors, trusts and foundations, statutory bodies and corporate partners as well as donations from many individual donors and supporters, including all Design Museum trustees.
Brian Reeves, head of facilities at The Design Museum, said: "The expectations of colleagues entering the workplace have changed rapidly over recent years and are expected to change further over the coming years, the method and approach to work is being actively redefined by a generation who are more connected through technology than before and interface with the physical workspace in a new way.
"When the opportunity to review our maintenance supply chain came about, we seized the chance to focus on cultural synergy and service agility. Pareto FM were a perfect fit and natural choice for the museum due to their passion for engineering excellence and contemporary management culture."
Andrew Hulbert, managing director at Pareto FM, said: "The Design Museum led an innovative but thorough tender process and set the bar exceptionally high. We look forward to demonstrating how our unique model can entirely serve the needs of the Design Museum."
