Core Facility Services has completed a merger with Kirklees-based energy management firm FM Energy.
The merger paves the way for the nationwide expansion of Core's energy and sustainability services.
It will take over FM Energy's portfolio of commercial and charity clients and widen its range of energy purchasing, efficiency and bill validation services.
Colette Watts, managing director of Core, said: "Most organisations already understand the cost-saving benefits of proactive energy purchasing, but we are now seeing a real demand for a full sustainability strategy.
"Procurement teams increasingly look at sustainability when appointing suppliers so this is relevant to every organisation."
Watts said Core's sustainability planning covers wellness, waste management and staff engagement as well as energy efficiency.
She added: "By expanding our energy services we can now offer a complete sustainability solution for businesses across Yorkshire which we plan to roll out into other areas of the UK over the next five years."
