Lancer Scott has been awarded a five-year maintenance and repair contract with the Co-op.
Under the deal the company will supply maintenance and repair services to more than 1,300 food stores and funeral homes across the south of the UK.
Services include all mechanical and electrical maintenance, air-conditioning, fixed wire testing and PAT, plumbing, and all fabric elements of store and funeral home assets.
The contract will result in the creation of more than 100 jobs for locally based managers, help desk staff, engineers and apprentices.
Craig Coombes, FM director at Lancer Scott, explained that the deal expanded on a relationship built with the Co-op over the past three years.
"The partnership will enable Lancer Scott to continue and expand our commitment to the communities we work in across the south of the UK with local jobs for local people and investment in community-based projects," he said.
