Bradford Metropolitan District Council has selected Interserve Group as a contractor for its new £100 million general contractors framework.
The deal runs for an initial two-year period, after which the council could extend the framework for two further one-year terms.
The company has been appointed on lot 2, covering building works from £500,000 to £2.5 million; lot 3 covering building works from £2.5 million to £5 million; and lot 4 covering works in excess of £5 million. The framework agreement will be used to procure building schemes across the district to support the expansion and maintenance of the council's estate.
The framework also includes new-build, alteration and extension works on education facilities, affordable housing schemes, residential and extra care homes, public buildings, and sports and leisure facilities.
Don Stewart, framework director at Interserve Construction, said: "We have a strong track record within the Bradford Metropolitan District for delivering complex projects drawing on our wide-ranging experience, and we are looking forward to working in collaboration with the council to deliver its capital projects aligned with Interserve Construction's strategy for expanding its framework portfolio."
