Polyteck Group has announced a restructuring of its business operations into two new discrete divisions - maintenance and specialist services, and property development.
The move follows a strategic review that identified a need to offer the company's clients a more clearly defined service offer, with stronger demarcation around its activities.
Each division will have its own managing director and structure to enable its teams to focus more closely on singular tasks and projects, with a focus on direct and self-delivery.
The new maintenance entity will see the integration of a number of contracts, with the enlarged business generating revenue in excess of £20 million. This will provide both scale and depth to enhance the delivery of more complex maintenance services.
Polyteck also recently established its own in-house water treatment, drainage and plumbing, and compliance operations to support its maintenance activities. These will all form part of the specialist division, alongside engineering, validation, fire and security, and electrical services.
The company's regeneration and construction activity will reside within its new property development division.
George Polycarpou, managing director of Polyteck, said: "The launch of our new maintenance and specialist services and property development divisions is a clear signal of our ongoing commitment to our clients.
"It enables the company to concentrate on its engineering and maintenance activities, where we have strong market positions, which in turn helps to underpin more predictable and profitable revenue streams.
"By focusing our expertise on specific tasks and projects, we are able to maximise our productivity and continue to always provide a first-class service."
