University Partnerships Programme (UPP) has been awarded a three-year contract worth £1 million to provide facilities management services at Imperial College London's White City campus in Hammersmith and Fulham.
UPP Residential Services, a business unit of UPP, operates 192 one, two and three-bedroom apartments on the university's White City Campus in Hammersmith and Fulham. The apartments include 59 units for the university's key workers, provided at a significant discount.
UPP Residential Services will deliver maintenance, front of house, cleaning and security services at the new private rental apartments. Provision of FM services commenced on 29 November and occupation of the new-build block at the start of December.
The deal forms part of the university's White City Campus strategy to make a positive impact in enterprise and employment. Through working with the local community, the strategy will share ideas and turn cutting-edge research into benefits for society.
Paul Milner, managing director of UPP Residential Services, said: "This exciting new contract is a first for UPP and is testament to the strength of our relationship with long-standing partner Imperial College London and its trust and confidence in us to deliver services on their behalf.
"With over a decade of experience in delivering specialist FM services in the UK higher education sector, we are very much looking forward to supporting the university's key workers and private tenants who will be making 88 Wood Lane their new home."
UPP and Imperial College have worked in partnership for eight years, operating a portfolio of 1,172 rooms through GradPad, an operating brand of Imperial College London.
