Amey has been contracted by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) to deliver FM and project work at five United States Visiting Forces (USVF) locations across the UK.
Under the contract, Amey will provide reactive maintenance, statutory and mandatory compliance tasks and other services at RAF Alconbury, Molesworth, Croughton, Fairford and other smaller sites. It will also manage about 250 houses for service families.
Amey's existing customer service centre in Speke in Liverpool will be used to schedule and manage works, providing 24/7 support to the USVF.
Amanda Fisher, managing director, facilities maintenance, defence and justice at Amey, said: "We will be drawing on our existing knowledge and operational understanding of the defence estate to manage this critical infrastructure over the next 18 months. As we begin to become more familiar with all the sites, we look forward to working with the DIO to deliver essential facilities management services and project work across all five locations."
