B38 Group wins TFM deal with KCOM

Facilities management supplier B38 Group has been appointed by communications business KCOM to provide a full range of property support and facilities services at its sites across the UK.

KCOM is headquartered in Kingston upon Hull in East Yorkshire, and serves residents and businesses with internet and telephone services. It has seven offices located in Hull, Wakefield, Exeter, Ipswich, London and Hemel Hempstead, as well as 113 network sites.

Wakefield-based B38 Group was awarded a 36-month contract for total facilities management (TFM) provision, including technical building services such as maintenance of fire alarms, lifts and dry risers. The contract also extends to cleaning, catering and waste management services.

B38 Group offers a "comprehensive facilities management operation for private sector clients and blue-chip organisations nationwide, working across the retail, manufacturing, logistics, corporate, education and healthcare sectors".
