Salisbury Group has won a contract with the University of London to supply hard FM services at academic and residential buildings across its estate, which currently includes 27 buildings and ancillary facilities.
The FM company will deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and project and life cycle engineering infrastructure projects. It will also provide help-desk services and specialist supply chain monitoring for a range of buildings, plant, equipment and systems.
The operator said it would also produce a sustainable programme to invest in the most environmentally efficient ways to deliver FM services. This will include a fleet of eco-friendly vehicles to transport its specialist engineers around the various sites.
Andrew Lunt, group managing director of Salisbury Group, said: "Winning this contract shows our FM and engineering expertise as well as our ability to offer a solution that reflects the ambitious objectives of the University of London. We will be working hard to build a partnership ethos based on first-class customer service and great workplace experiences for employees, students and visitors alike."
Glenn Marree, head of estates operations at the University of London, said: "We look forward to collaborating on optimising working environments for our students, staff and partners, who are working at the very cutting edge of higher education within the UK and internationally."
