Emcor extends Lancaster Gas partnership until 2022

Emcor UK wins hard FM deal with the University of Oxford

05 March 2020 | Marino Donati

Emcor UK has extended its contract with Lancaster Gas Partnership, the department of Lancaster City Council responsible for heating and safety-related issues across the local authority's property portfolio.

Under the contract, Emcor UK, which has a 16-year relationship with the partnership, will carry out maintenance and renewal of gas appliances in the council's housing stock of about 3,400 properties. The renewed deal now runs until the end of March 2022.

Emcor UK chief executive Keith Chanter said that the company supported the council's aim to satisfy legislative requirements within budget.

"We will continue to deliver this by combining first-class engineering and management with bespoke technology which continually adapts to meet the changing needs of the partnership," he said.

In January, Emcor UK was awarded a multimillion-pound hard facilities management contract by the University of Oxford.
