ABM UK has appointed Chris Middleton as its director of security. He rejoins the company, having held the position of national security compliance manager there from 2012 to 2014.
Middleton brings over 17 years' experience in both hard and soft services in the FM industry, 10 of which he spent in the security sector, specialising in corporate security and risk.
In his new post, Middleton will lead security services across more than 60 sites, managing at least 600 staff.
He was previously with global insurance firm Marsh McLennan via Mitie, where he was head of operations. ABM said he has "a wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering facilities management services to prime real estate locations across the UK and Europe".
He has also held senior FMposts at Ernst & Young, PwC and Deloitte.
