Aspens Services has won a five-year catering contract at the three Grace Academy sites in the West Midlands.
From September, the Midlands-based company will provide catering at sites in Solihull, Coventry and Darlaston, near Walsall.
The contract, won through a competitive tendering process, sees Aspens delivering catering, hospitality and vending services at the three Academies.
The total number of students is nearly 2,800, aged 11 to 19 years. But student levels are expected to reach about 4,200 over the contract period.
Grace Academy group facilities manager Frank Clements said Aspens was chosen by a panel that consisted of students, staff and governors.
Aspens managing partner John Roe said the firm sources all perishable supplies from farmers and producers within a 50-mile radius of its catering locations.
The Grace Academy is a charitable company sponsored by the Grace Foundation, a charity established by Lord Edmiston, chairman of management consultancy IM Group. Grace Foundation is committed to providing centres of educational excellence where students and staff have the opportunity to achieve their personal best and to contribute to their local communities.
