Seasoned Events lands luxury boat deal

Open-access content Wednesday 19th October 2011 — updated 1.53pm, Tuesday 5th May 2020
19 October 2011

Seasoned Events has secured an exclusive three-year contract with Thames Luxury Charters for banqueting and events services.

The deal, worth £3 million, is for the company's four charter boats situated at Butler's Wharf by Tower Bridge in London.

Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, also has a two-year extension option on the contract, which is the first time the charter company has had a single food provider, according to a statement.

The boats are the Elizabethan, Erasmus, Edwardian and the flagship replica stern-wheel paddle steamer Dixie Queen.

They can accommodate events for up to 620 people, including dinners, conferences, product launches and wedding receptions.

Seasoned Events provides food and events management services to over 60 venues across London and the surrounding areas.

Clients include the Guildhall, Madame Tussauds and Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Banqueting House.?? It is also sole food and events supplier at the Royal Courts of Justice, Leander Club and Tower Bridge Walkways.

The business has an annual turnover of around £7 million, while the Crown Group has a turnover of around £40 million.
