BaxterStorey has snapped up a five-year contract worth around £12 million with financial asset management firm BlackRock.
The deal at the firm's Drapers Gardens office in London sees BaxterStorey providing catering for up to 1,800 people.
Included is staff dining in BlackRock's new restaurant, offering freshly prepared hot meals, a deli bar, a grab-and-go range and a salad bar. There is also a vending service and a Starbucks coffee offer which is BaxterStorey's first Starbucks franchise.
BaxterStorey will deliver a hospitality service over three floors of the building, serving up to 1,600 covers per day. The company offers corporate fine dining for BlackRock employees and guests as well as operate a retail shop on behalf of the client.
Noel Mahony, chief executive of BaxterStorey, welcomed the new contract. "In these austere times it is critical for BaxterStorey to help our clients to get a return on their investment in catering," he said.
