Support services provider Carillion has been chosen to deliver operation, maintenance and repairs to the Royal Bank of Scotland's 1.5million sq m estate.
Under the five-year contract Carillion will provide these services for the bank's branches, offices and cash and coin centres in England, Scotland and Wales.
The contract is due to start later in 2014 and will implement a new target-based operating model, designed to protect the bank from operational risks, to enhance customer experience, to introduce greater flexibility in service delivery and to minimise energy consumption.
