Engineering, IT and facilities services business NG Bailey has won a contract to deliver mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance works to shopping centres owned by designer outlet owner McArthurGlen.
The contract, worth £1million a year - a total of £3 million over three years - will see NG Bailey's Facilities Services division manage all six outlets in the UK, including York, Swindon, and Cheshire Oaks.
The team will also explore energy-saving opportunities throughout each outlet, reviewing the buildings' energy management system and developing an energy-focused maintenance proposal.
Stuart Linington, managing director of NG Bailey's Facilities Services division, said it was "a significant win" for the company because McArthurGlen is "one of the fastest growing retail outlets in the UK".
He added: "We look forward to becoming part of the team and in helping them realise energy savings across their portfolio, through our review of their building management systems."
