CBRE Group has been appointed by energy company Vestas to provide integrated facilities management across its property portfolio, covering approximately 1 million sq m in 17 countries.
Under the terms of the contract, CBRE will become an extension of the Vestas global team delivering IFM services including mechanical engineering across its sites, including offices, production hubs and warehouses. This covers Vestas' real estate in the Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA. In Europe, this comprises the Nordics, UK & Ireland, CEE, Belgium, France, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
CBRE has been an incumbent supplier for Vestas delivering advisory and transaction services, since 2011.
Vestas, founded in 1945, is headquartered in Denmark and provides wind energy solutions for its customers. Its core business is the development, manufacturing, maintenance and installation of wind power plants globally.
