Compass Group has reported organic revenue growth of 2 per cent for the three months to 31 December 2016.
Its first quarter performance was in line with the group's expectations, with its North America region exhibiting a strong 7 per cent growth, while its Rest of the World region declined by 6.5 per cent in what Compass described as "expected weakness" and "a challenging environment in Brazil".
The Q1 results means that Compass's 2017 outlook remains "positive and unchanged".
In its 2016 annual report, Compass reported a 5 per cent increase in organic growth, a rise of 5.6 per cent in underlying operating profit, and a 94.1 per cent retention rate in contracts.
